In the FBC Youth Ministry, we seek to connect the passions of our youth with God’s passions already at work in the world. We are an inclusive community of imperfect people striving for authenticity and fellowship. Come and be a part of a great group of youth as we journey together.

Everyone is welcome at FBC!

Youth Christmas Party

Mark your calendars now for Sunday, December 12 from 5-7pm in the Fellowship Hall. We’re excited that our Youth Christmas Party is back this year and we can’t wait to eat great food, do our white elephant gift exchange, and hang out with each other. Everyone should be two things:
  • A food item to share (details below) and
  • A WRAPPED white elephant gift with a value of $8-10. We will also have a prize for the person who is dressed most festively for Christmas!
For food, you can either bring a sweet dessert or a savory appetizer. To ensure that we have a range of food items, please sign up here for one of the two food categories. Then, just make the food item of your choosing from that category and bring it with you. PLEASE NOTE: If your food item has nuts in it, please indicate that with some sort of label on your container.

High School Retreat

High Schoolers! Join us for High School Retreat in the mountains of Montreat February 18-21, 2022. The cost is only $200 per person and sign ups are open now. Space is limited, so sign up soon. As always, we’ll have a full weekend of fun, worship, free time, games, food, and more. High School Retreat is the highlight of the year. You don’t want to miss this.

Our theme for High School Retreat this year is Face To Face. We’ll be talking about what it looks like to experience God in a personal way, especially in a year where we are slowly emerging from quarantine, online school, and other things that limited our ability to be with one another. What does it mean to see God face to face? Do people experience God in different ways? How can I strengthen my person relationship with God? We’ll explore these questions and more together. Sign Up Here!

How to stay informed!

There are two ways to receive communications from FBC Youth Ministry. First is through our weekly ENews each Wednesday morning. If you’d like to receive these weekly emails, please email Ashley Chandler to sign up!

Second way to not miss out on what’s happening in the youth group is by signing up for texts. Sign up to receive one-way REMINDers of youth events via Text or Email – you choose between Middle School or High School or Both! You can also join the Youth Parent group and Youth Choir group.

Click here to Sign Up | Do this separately for each group you’d like texts from. You will choose between email and text and receive a confirmation email or text to join the group. Here are the codes for each group:
