In the FBC Youth Ministry, we seek to connect the passions of our youth with God’s passions already at work in the world. We are an inclusive community of imperfect people striving for authenticity and fellowship. Come and be a part of a great group of youth as we journey together.
Everyone is welcome at FBC!
Our weekly activities start on Sunday mornings with Bible Study at 9:15 am and Worship at 10:30 am. Sunday afternoons begin at 4 pm with Handbells, 5 pm Youth Choir, and Discipleship at 6 pm. Wednesday nights are a time of fun, fellowship, and new experiences from 6:15-7:15 pm. Also, be sure to keep an eye out for special events, retreats, mission trips, choir tours, volunteering in the community, and so much more. We hope you’ll join us!

FBC youth group is heading to Peacehaven Farm on June 8 for a Garden Workday. Only 14 spots are available! Grab your spots to be a part of this wonderful event. We’ll be at Peacehaven at 9am, so please arrive at the church 8:15am sharp and we’ll be back at the church by 12:30pm! Connect with Chris if you have any questions!
Summertime means baseball! We’re heading out to the ball game on June 12 AND August 16. Cost is $10 for your ticket plus money for food. You must sign up for each day you want to attend separately. Deadline to sign up is a few days before the event (June 9 / August 11). Both days we will meet at the church at 6:30pm and walk over to the stadium and walk back to FBC after the game.
We’re heading to Atlanta and partnering with local churches to work in the community. We’ll also spend some intentional time learning about the community around us and thinking about ways that translates back home to Greensboro. Our week will feature custom designed modules centering around racial justice, child poverty and literacy, and refugee resettlement. It’s going to be a great trip and we’d love to have you go with us!
This year, the theme is Fearless. In a world that seems to be telling us to fear more and offer love less, we remember that Jesus calls us to love radically despite our fears. Throughout the week, conversation will center around the ideas Stay Awake, Stand Firm, Be Brave, and Love Always. You won’t want to miss this opportunity to encounter God in a new way while also watching Chris act like a crazy person. We understand the price for this trip is higher. Thanks to our fundraising efforts, we are able to offer Passport at cost. $435 is exactly what Passport charges us per person. Oh, and as usual, spots are limited, so sign up soon!
August 6 we’re heading to Carowinds! For group rate tickets, there is a hard deadline of July 7. If you sign up after July 7, you’ll be placed on a waiting list (no, seriously). Friends are welcome to come – they just have to sign up! Cost is $40 plus money for food.
Sign Ups coming very soon!
