Join us after worship, Sunday November 24 for a Thanksgiving Potluck Meal! The church will provide turkey and rolls. We’d love for you to bring your favorite side to share.

As a part of our Thanksgiving Meal, we have another opportunity to show support for our neighbors in Western Carolina. Traditionally, FBC Asheville prepares holiday food boxes that are distributed to low income folks near the church. With the ongoing recovery process the city of Asheville is still experiencing, there is even more of a need to help with these holiday food boxes. Below is the list of items they include in each food box, with the canned ham and canned chicken being most important. Please bring a few of these items to our Thanksgiving Meal on Sunday, November 24. A donation box will also be available in the atrium.

Items needed: Canned Ham, Canned Chicken, Canned Green Peas, Canned Fruit, Boxes of Jiffy Corn Muffin Mix, Cream of Chicken / Cream of Mushroom, Canned Yams or Sweet Potatoes, Canned Corn, Boxed Instant Potatoes and Mac and Cheese.

We are looking forward to giving thanks for all the many ways we experience God’s presence together.
