We’re excited to welcome interns to our team this summer, and to share in life and work in the months ahead!
We are so thrilled to welcome Amelia Britt back to First Baptist Greensboro this summer in the role of Pastoral Intern! Amelia is in the dual degree program at Wake Forest University, where she is studying in the Divinity School and Counseling program. She served with us last summer, and we are grateful that she has decided to jump back into the FBC staff once again!
Amelia will be working closely with all of our pastoral staff, and you’ll see her leading in worship, Bible study, missions and more! Don’t forget to reintroduce yourself to Amelia, and give her a warm “Welcome Back” when you see her.

Julia just concluded her first year at Western Carolina University, where she studies Communication Sciences and Disorders. Julia grew up at First Baptist Greensboro, the daughter of Scott and Molly Lyle. She’s excited to be at her home church this summer, serving as part of a ministry that she was so actively involved in growing up.

Shelby is a recent graduate of UNC-G, where she studied Choral Music Education. Throughout her years at UNC-G, Shelby has been active at First Baptist Greensboro, working with our youth and children in music ministry. We’re so excited for Shelby’s service to continue throughout the summer as she works with our choirs and music camp.
