2022 has just begun but we’re already planning for Summer and we’d love for you to join us! Our children and youth have summer camps and trips we’d love to get on your calendars now. Learn more about each offering below.
Youth Summer Mission Trip | June 12-18
Save the date for this year’s Youth Summer Mission Trip! Details are still being firmed up but we are hoping to travel for our missions week this year. It will be an amazing trip in which we’ll serve in both traditional and non-traditional ways, learn about community and ourselves, include musical elements, and get a better idea of how we can serve our own community back in Greensboro. Sign ups will open soon! Be the first to know when they open by being on our youth email list by emailing Ashley (ashley@fbcgso.org).
Passportkids Camp | June 15-18
This is a camp for children who are currently in 3rd-5th grade. This is a transformational 4-day, 3-night camp where the children have so much fun while also experiencing worship, small groups, free time, the pool, games, sports, devotions, & more. The deadline to sign up is January 31, after that, you are welcome to join the waitlist.
VBS | July 11-14
Save the date for VBS 2022! We are looking forward to an in-person VBS this Summer all the while being mindful of what COVID looks like at the time. Protocols and safety measures will be taken to protect our children during this time. More details on the theme will be announced first through our FBC Kids email list. If you would like to volunteer to help with VBS, please email Autumn@fbcgso.org
Passport Youth Camp | July 18-23
Passport is always a great anchor event for our summer and is full of fun, new friends, unique experiences, and faith formation. The cost is $445, which is exactly what Passport charges us per person and the sign up deadline is Sunday, February 13, 2022. That’s an earlier deadline than usual, but it is based on when Passport allows us to add/drop spots.
Worship in the Arts Camp | August 1-5
Campers will enjoy music of many styles as they develop their voices individually and discover the joy of singing and making music in community. The daily worship time is enriched through experiences in choral music, drama, visual arts, instruments (guitar, drums, handbells, Orff) and sacred dance. Classes are taught by church staff and professionals in the surrounding Greensboro area.
