StepUp Greensboro is one of FBC’s Missions Partners that provides free job readiness training, active mentoring, and supportive services to help individuals find and keep jobs and build stable lives. Each 2nd Sunday opportunity to donate interview clothing and accessories in the Atrium.

Here are a list of needs StepUp Greensboro could use:


Suits, dresses, jackets, dress pants that are interview appropriate – all series especially 2-5X.

Tops-blouses, shells to go under jackets- bright colors are fine.

Shoes – black, brown, navy and beige-conservative in style and heel heights, all sizes especially sizes 9-14, all widths-especially wide.

Scarves – all colors and conservative designs.

Appropriate sizes purses for interviews.

Jewelry – necklaces – should be a length to fit no longer than the collarbone, earrings no larger than the size of a quarter.

Panty hose in all skin tones – we would appreciate control top in all sizes, knee high hoses in all skin tones, light weight trouser socks in black and dark brown.


Dress suits, blazers, dress pants, dress shirts and dresses – all sizes especially for small and very large and tall men.

Men’s black and brown dress shoes-all sizes and great need for sizes 11-14 medium and wide width.

Dress shirts – white and French blue-all sizes especially big and tall sizes.

Ties and belts- black and brown.

We often have men who have no underwear and can use all sizes of new undershirts and underwear-especially larger sizes.

Work shoes – regular and steel toed shoes.
