About Amy
For the past 9 years, Amy has been the Associate Minister at First Baptist Church in Henderson, NC. There she has served in a ministerial role that was multi-faceted as she was able to lead in the capacities of missions, youth, worship planning, administration and Christian formation for all ages. After graduating from Gardner-Webb with a BA in Religious Studies and a minor in Spanish, Amy attended Wake Forest University School of Divinity where she received her Master of Divinity. In addition to her work in the local church, Amy has been committed to denominational engagement and has served on several state and national boards for the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship.
Amy looks forward to the opportunity to be a part of a church that values children and their formation. She is particularly excited to walk alongside them to help build a solid foundation with God and with the church, investing in their development with hopes that faith may continue to be a life-long journey for each child. We are excited to welcome Amy’s extensive gifts in pastoral leadership and formation as she steps into the role of Associate Pastor of Children and Families.

I know firsthand Amy’s patient and purposeful leadership in the lives of those in her stead. I cannot wait to see how Children and their families at First Baptist Greensboro will be ministered to by her, and what a catalyst she will be to the staff team.”
