Holy Saturday Organ Recital

Good Friday: Service of Shadows

Maundy Thursday, April 9 – Courtney Willis

Wednesday, April 8 – Amy Grizzle Kane

Tuesday, April 7 – Chris Cherry

Monday, April 6 – Courtney Willis

Join us daily throughout Holy Week for a home-based pilgrimage through Jesus’ last days. We are utilizing a resource called “Holy Week Tenebrae,” developed by The Salt Project. It contains devotionals to complete individually, or as a family. Church members have received a copy by email, but please contact the office (adminteam@fbcgso.org) if you need one — we want to make a copy available for every member of our congregation.

In addition, each day on Facebook and on this page, we are posting video reflections from members of our pastoral staff to encourage us to pray, reflect and journey through Holy Week as a congregation. Video reflections will be posted at 7am Monday-Thursday, and Noon on Friday and Saturday, and will be available at all times after posting.

Monday, 7am – A reflection on Palm Sunday & the Temple Incident with Courtney Willis

Tuesday, 7am – A reflection on the Fig Tree with Chris Cherry

Wednesday, 7am – A reflection on the Anointing at Bethany with Amy Grizzle Kane

Thursday, 7am – A Maundy Thursday reflection with Courtney Willis

Friday, Noon – A Good Friday “Service of Shadows,” led by Alan Sherouse and the pastoral staff

Saturday, Noon – A Holy Saturday Organ Recital by Doug Vancil

Sunday, 10:30am – Easter Sunday Worship

Check here or on Facebook for daily reflections. And contact us (adminteam@fbcgso.org) if you need to receive your copy of “Holy Week Tenebrae.”
