Join First Baptist Greensboro durning Holy Week through different experiences, both in person and virtual. Click on the boxes below for more information on each of our Holy Week offerings.
March 29 – April 5 | 8 am Monday through Friday at 8am, members of our pastoral staff will lead a daily devotion, retracing the steps of Jesus throughout his final week “On the Way to Resurrection.” Available on Facebook or at our devotional page.
Thursday, April 1 | 6 – 7:30 pm Due to impending weather, our Maundy Thursday plans have changed. Make plans to stop by the sanctuary any time from 6pm-7:30pm for a personal blessing and communion with our pastors. Sign-ups are not needed for this event, as we invite you to simply come at your convenience on Thursday evening. If you ordered a meal, you will be receiving a refund. Easter Sunday Worship | April 4 Outdoors at 7:00, 9:00 or 11:00 am or Online at 10:30 am
Gather with us on the front lawn of First Baptist to share the hope of Easter Sunday worship. Attendees are asked to sign-up, allowing for numbers to be monitored and seating to be arranged. After the service, all are welcome to join in a time of outdoor fellowship. Bring a bell to ring with each “Hallelujah,” as well as an Easter hat or umbrella to shield from light rain or sun. A virtual worship service is also available at 10:30 am on Facebook or at fbcgso.org.
Sunday, March 28 & Sunday, April 4 | 12 Noon
Join our children as they recreate the scenes of Holy Week through music and drama. This virtual play will air in two installments, with the scenes leading to crucifixion airing Palm Sunday, March 28 at Noon and resurrection and family hymn sing Easter Sunday, April 4 at Noon. Each section can be viewed live or any time after on Facebook or at fbcgso.org
