Carter Trust Fund
What is the Carter Trust Fund?
The Carter Trust Fund is an opportunity for Baptist churches in Guilford County to receive funds for the establishment, construction, maintenance, and operation of their churches. Established in 1957 by Mr. Wilbur Lee Carter, this fund came out of his desire to be missional in his community with the guidance of his home church, First Baptist Church of Greensboro. In order to be faithful to Mr. Carter’s gift, the Carter Trust Fund Committee has established an application process. Guidelines, application and grant report form (completed after reception of funds) can be found on this page. In the past, funds have been used for items such as church plants, programming, general operations, personnel and church building repairs. As your church finds itself in need, or dreaming anew, please consider the Carter Trust Fund as a potential partner for your ministry.
