Mary’s Song: I See Him! | By Monica Vaughan
Week 2, Day 12 | December 10
The majesty and glory of God are all around us, and they are times when they are more evident than others.
I particularly feel His presence while watching the sun rise over the ocean, glistening on the waves so strong yet so peaceful. I see Him! Oh God, how great You are.
I see Him in the beauty of the leaves as their summer greens turn to the vibrant colors of fall. It is a beautiful painting, a gift to us from the hand of God. Oh God, how great You are.
The first snow fall glistening on the trees reminds me of His pure, unblemished love for me. I see Him! Oh God, how great You are.
He is in the small things, a smile at the grocery store or a hug from a friend. I see Him! Oh God, how great You are.
I see Him in the face of a newborn baby, so small and tender. I marvel at such a gift, the greatest gift. The babe is Jesus, Son of God, Savior, Redeemer and Friend! Thank you God for this precious gift! Oh God, how great You are.
He is everywhere! We just need to open our eyes, our ears and our hearts this Advent season to see Him. Oh God, how great You are.
PRAYER: “Oh Lord my God, when I in awesome wonder, consider all the worlds Thy hands have made. I see the stars, I hear the rolling thunder, thy power throughout the universe displayed. Then sings my soul, my Savior God to thee, how great Thou art, how great Thou art.”6 Amen.
