On Pentecost Sunday — traditionally considered the birthday of the universal Church — we will be celebrating the birthday of our local church, First Baptist Greensboro! This year marks 165 years since the formation of the Greensboro Baptist Church, which later came to be known as First Baptist Greensboro. We will acknowledge our history and celebrate our future in worship. After worship we will gather together on the front lawn for a potluck lunch. Bring your favorite side and/or dessert, to pair with First Baptist favorite, “Theo’s Famous Fried Chicken.” We look forward to celebrating together!
