About the Vanguard Series

The Vanguard Speaker Series at First Baptist Greensboro is an annual event that invites an influential theologian or biblical scholar to lead the church in conversation, study, and worship, often in the form of a weekend winter Bible study. Made possible by a generous donation, since its inception the series has engaged some of the best scholars in Baptist life and beyond to help the congregation grow deeper in faith and community.
