Seniors

Persons aged 55 or more are VIPs at FBC! This sector of our church membership identify themselves as “senior adults” and FBC has a ministry focused on this vitally important group. The watchword of our umbrella organization, the Senior Adult Council, has come to us from the poetry of Robert Browning: “Grow old along with me! The best is yet to be – – the last of life, for which the first was made” (Rabbi Ben Ezra, St. I.). Under the watchful eye of the Senior Adult Council , our older adult ministries include monthly PrimeTime activities, homebound ministry, Bereavement Team, Friend’s Day, Historical Committee, day trips and more.
